Scared to use my account

I see all of these arcade and funny media sites using YPN. All the YPN ads displayed are mainly about plastic surgery/turbotax/other unrelated things. I can see the massive potential in driving traffic through YPN like this but I am scared to lose my account at some point down the road, yet hundreds of websites are doing it and making good money. Does YPN often ban for unconverting clicks. On the other hand, I would still probably be a drop in the ocean and the advertisers wouldnt complain about me. They would go for the bigger earners first.

Right now I am making 1/day but could easily make 100 with semi-questionable traffic (no blackhate). 100 is still nothing in terms of the significance to YPN or the advertisers.

I would obvisouly take all the precautions against fraud click/ geo targetting, its the unconverting clicks I'm worried about.

I read some other threads just now, bigrollerdave and inferno both got banned. Inferno allegedly made big money, and I know dave did. Is it worh it guys or should I waste my time writing boring articles on credit management and drive quality traffic... SOMEHOW ( i dont know how, I hate arbitrage and adwords)?

Yes they do ban for unconverted clicks. As for the unrelated topics... that's life with YPN :\ Totally unrelated stuff showing up all the time on my sites. I have really horribly low click-through-rate because of it...

only you can answer these questions. if you are making a dollar per day then that is the same as nothing. to get paid every 4 months is silly. if you cant or dont know how to make more on your own, then perhaps you should do what you can to make more and not worry so much about your account.

Imagenesis: You do make a good point. To use your YPN account is to live in a perpetual state of paranoia, fearing that you'll be banned for no apparent reason. Then when you do get banned, you'll face the fear that you'll not get paid. All the while, others will be running the exact same business model and not get banned. Come join the fun while you can.... the beta may only last a few more years.

I can't wait till it goes public. Hopefully more advertisers join in and the ads will be more targeted, which will get rid of this paranoia that I also have. Even if the cpc goes down, the ads the will be more targeted so more people will probably click.
