    Have you noticed how many scams are on the Internet? Have you noticed that finding a proper business is like find a needle in a haystack?

    I think we should set up a protocol for buying services here on DP. Yeah, I'm new here, but I've been around the Internet block and think this is a good idea.

    How many of you have been scammed by sellers of website traffic?

    How about this for a new protocol:
    1) A new forum should be made for Traffic Seller Reviews.
    2) Traffic sellers must start a new thread and give 3 free review packages to senior DP members.
    3) That thread should be locked with the three reviews can stay as a record of positive or negative results.

    No conversions = no business (mocking the "no visitors = no sales" copy I see everywhere.)

    Why drop 10 to 100 bucks in these scammers pockets? They can con 20 of us before anyone wises up, then quickly change identities and do it again!

    Following this new protocol, traffic sellers can't give reviews away to their friends (similar to all the fake or affiliate sponsored "reviews" we find on the Net), and we can trust the experience of senior DP's.

    What do you think DP?
    (I'm tired of getting ripped off.)

    I buy very few things off the internet other than books & dvds..."make money" plans that promise millions but don't show you anything about the mechanics of it in their promo info are out immediately. So I don't feel "ripped off". Also, I have the power to choose what to buy and what to ignore. What I've learned so far about online marketing is:

    * it's slow to start
    * the growth is exponential as you gain popularity
    * anyone promising an instant massive bump in popularity/sales is probably shining you on.

    I say "probably" because who knows, there may be some authentic person sharing a real method out there, or having you pay a big buy-in to get their endorsement or something.

    I've never been scammed by web traffic sellers simply because I've never bought the so-called "guaranteed traffic" (e.g. 1000 visitors for $10). High quality traffic cannot be picked form the trees. :) And it cannot be cheap. There's a lot of competition for this traffic so in order to get it you must pay, but at the same time you must have a smart strategy for getting targeted visitors and convert them. That's why only the best IM businesspeople win the PPC game. :)
