From reading this tread it seems like we are talking about a 15 year old boy, who knows what problems this lad is having, if he really cant pay you back he will avoid you what else can he do?
As for posting this tread, I don’t really agree with calling someone without knowing the full facts. It has happened to me and it’s not nice.
Maybe best to put it down to experience and move on.

If you got a loan from a bank and couldnt pay it back and they knew it are they just going to say "oh no big deal, lets just drop it"? This isnt about the money... its about what he did.

Yeah but you really don’t know the reasons why he can’t pay you back.
Ok I get a loan from the bank then I have a heart attack and I’m unable to work will the bank stick my name up in big bright lights?
I understand you trusted someone and also helped them out; there may still be a good reason why you have not got it back.
You wouldn’t think anyone would deceive someone out of such a small amount of money.

I've never lent money to anyone online :))
    that was your first mistake..
I had someone on my messenger list get pissy with me a few weeks ago cuz he asked me to lend him $5 and I said No.. He spat off some words and I blocked him.

I work hard for the little cash I have, the only ppl I would even think about lending to would have to be someone I've known and talked to for at least a year ;)

be happy you only lost $20, but u did it to yourself ;)

No but it will go on your credit and all that.
You wouldnt think $20 is something to scam for but he did it.

I know I did it to myself, I just tend to trust people. Besides, its only $20, nothing I cant get back in a few hours.

    Have to agree with you.
Hopefully the lad will return the cash, if he does hopefully a new tread will be started to clear his name.
A good friend of mine was supposed to meet up with me a few months ago, he didn’t and I was not happy, I later found out that he had past away. Sad but true.
Might just be a lesson that I have learned, to give the benefit of doubt.
