I request the mods to not delete this thread or give infractions to the people who report.

When there is a scammer on the go, we need to be notified.

It is different from couple of members getting into a fight.

So, please help the community by making all sellers aware of the issue.

i've already emailed my attorney to call me today and spoke to "Beauty" about this last night so we might possibly get a class action lawsuit going against this guy & Godaddy since godaddy is allowing this to happen while being made aware of it....they've created and allowed this situation to happen.

here's what they told me today about my 20 domains:
Our support staff has responded to your request, details of which are described below:

    Dear Sir/Madam,

Unfortunately, since none of these domains were listed on our auction site, we have no recourse we can take. You will need to refer to the following URL to find any information on what legal action can be taken by you:

    Legal Agreements

Ian if you are reading this thread you f*cked w/ the wrong group pal, i'm going to have my attorney all over you w/ a class action suit including everyone person you've scammed.......you are going to be in some serious shit!!

wow Godaddy is horrible, looks like it will be a legal battle and i'll be going full bore after them for negligence and liability issues as well as making sure to go after this scammer and make sure he gets some jail time!

GD said this (really thinking of removing all my domains from them now)

    Dear Sean Wagner,

Thank you for your email. It appears that you have a 3rd party agreement between yourself and the buyer. We are not able to become involved in this dispute.

Any further disputes over the ownership or wording of the domain name will need to be sent either to the registrant, through an arbitration forum such as World Intellectual Property Organization (http://www.wipo.int), or the court system. Please be assured that if we receive notice of a pending legal dispute we will lock the name so that it cannot be transferred or otherwise modified. Likewise when we receive a Decision we will update the name accordingly.

    Thank you.

    Dear Sheriff,

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, since you entered into a purchase agreement with a 3rd party, GoDaddy will not get involved in this type of dispute.

Thank you.

    replies me following message.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, we will not be able to assist you with your request as you are not the current registrant of the domain. As the registrar, we are unable to make ownership changes on a domain without the consent of the registrant. At this point you will need to contact the owner via one of the methods listed on the Whois record of the domain.

If you find that the Whois information provided at http://who.godaddy.com/whoischeck.aspx?app_hdr= is invalid, such as containing a phone number that has been disconnected, please send us a detailed email to that we can attempt to have the owner correct it.

If the registrant is unresponsive or unwilling to assist you in this matter the only suggestion we can offer you would be to contact an arbitration forum such as WIPO (http://www.wipo.int) or settle the matter via the local court system.

    Thank you,

really is a shame Godaddy is taking a ignorant stance on this, its not a dispute, its a scam by the same guy over & over using their system.

I went to icann.org & hit contact and gave them all my info online regarding this.

here is what i replied to godaddy w/ today:
That is very unfortunate to hear as this in no DISPUTE, it was a scam operation where he pays for domains, gets them pushed to his Godaddy account, and then reverses the charges with paypal.

This guy has been scamming dozen of legit business people online and is only doing it through GoDaddy which would seem to negligent in that you have a loophole that allows for this exact scam to take place. Then upon being informed of it in great detail, not only do you not remedy the situation, you continue to let a known scam artist work his scam using your system as his tool. There have been dozens of us now scammed by this same individual (godaddy email account: ) and I know that Godaddy has been contacted about this many time by others but has yet to do anything about this. This scammer only does this w/ Godaddy because your company has this loophole. I've provided clear documentation and placed phone calls within hours of this taking place and you're telling me you cant correct this issue.

This is some serious liability and negligence on the end of Godaddy and the dozens of others and myself are now going to band together to create a class action law suit. Unless these domains are returned to me (the 20 in question), this members account is removed so he can stop scamming innocent honest people, and this loophole in your system corrected, there will be a lawsuit filed from the dozens of us victims. We will be contacting some television media to let the press know about how godaddy harbors a scam artist and allows them to operate using a flawed system that Godaddy wont correct. I have already contacted ICANN to tell them of this situation and the horrible response and inadequate resolution that Godaddy is responsible for.

You will be hearing from my attorney within the week and you can expect this to include the other few dozen godaddy members that you aren't helping with this same exact scam artist.

    Regards,

    Sean Wagner

that is so g'damn pathetic......i really hope we get this guy....i think he's gone to the well a few toooo many times now and will get whats coming to him.
this is literally the first time i've been scammed on the internet and i've been working online now for 9 years......part of the problem really is paypal too.....but godaddy is just horrible allowign this to continue. They keep running their Danica commercials but dont care bout the people actually using their system....apparently they dont care about the ones that figured they could scam others w/ their system either

i dont think i'll be using PP at all anymore, i've been w/ them since they were "x.com" and they really allow for too much scamming w/o taking the responsibility.

i'm posting this info from another forum but think we found him!!!!

    from user VYFX on NP:

    Okay,

I looked up Whois information on a LOAD of the stolen domains from the "shibuyajpn" guy and guess what I found..

99% of them have the following information in common:

    Quote:Registrant:
    Mehboob .
    League City, Texas 77573
    United States
    1415charania@xx

    Registered through: GoDaddy.com, Inc. (http://www.godaddy.com)
    Domain Name: MZZV.COM
    Created on: 21-Sep-06
    Expires on: 21-Sep-08
    Last Updated on: 10-Feb-08

    Administrative Contact:
    Mehboob
    League City, Texas 77573
    United States
    8322760754 Fax --

    Technical Contact:
    Charania, Mehboob
    United States
    8322760754 Fax --

    Domain servers in listed order:
    NS43.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
    NS44.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

Now, guess what? I looked up '1415charania@sbcglobal.net' on Google and came up with a link to a Digital Point post where a very reputable member was buying "All of Your LLLL.coms for $50 each". This member, avis03, has over 1k posts and a very high iTrader rating. He/she uses the email '1415charania@sbcglobal.net' in their posts on Digital Point (link: click)-- the same email currently listed as the Administrative Contact on 90+% of the stolen domains.

The user, avis03, is offering to buy bulk LLLL.com domains for $50 apiece (link: click - from yesterday!), the very same tactic used by this scammer. So, it appears that our LLLL.com scammer is a member of the Digital Point forums. There is also a member 'avis03' here on NamePros with a closed account, but take a look at their posts: Click Here -- poor grammar, all lowercase letters, very unprofessional.. Does something ring a bell here?

It appears that one reputable member of the domain community is responsible for all of these scams. Hopefully this can be looked into and somebody with some power here can contact the administrator of Digital Point to open a full investigation.

Also, mods, please check for any logged IPs of the user 'avis03' here. They posted on dates ranging from today back to 2006 so perhaps their real IP (i.e. not a proxy) is listed on an older post.

NOTE: As I was typing this I found a Myspace page registered with the email . The link is here and it's stated to be a 'Houston, TX' profile. The name on the profile is none other than 'Avis'.

    Case closed?

EDIT: Yup, this HAS to be the guy. Take a look at this:

eBay Listings: eBay user avis03's profile - Hmm, bulk auction listings of LLLL's hosted at Godaddy, huh?
    eBay Feedback: click.

    Let the lawsuits begin?

then i did a little work:

interesting find guys, did a reverse address look up for that address you found & got this from superpages.com

    Mehboob
    League City, TX 77573-6808
    (281) 557-XXXX
    Find Neighbors

    and

hahahaha i just called & a young girl w/ a slightly asian/phillipine accent ansewered...i asked for "mehboob" and she said he' wouldnt be home til 7pm!!!!

    we might have this guy!!!

also said to fwd all godaddy correspondance to this specific address as they are very interested to see how the godaddy consumers are not being helped.
