Buddy i dont think you will be able to recover your money. He would have withdrawn the money to his bank account straight away. You might get lucky with last 500$ transaction though.

If he withdrew the money from PayPal, it usually takes 3 days to process that. If the dispute was filed within those three days, PayPal will stop the transfer and hold it until the dispute is over.

I transfer every bit of money on my PayPal account to my bank account each week. It takes up to 3 days, but you're right, it usually takes 2.
Either way, if the money was requested within that time frame then PayPal would stop the transfer and hold the money.

Oskars, I am sorry about you, but instead of trying to make money fast on internet which is not possible, better spend some money on education and not get scammed.

hope you get your money back! im with you on this one! the money that he has got will take days to hit in his bank acc, best to dispute n tell them everything, but 1 thing is for sure its hard getting money back on digital items. But as long you could complain to paypal you have been scammed hopefully they will do something!

Age has nothing to do when investigating Paypal disputes. It's irrelevant. :)

    Of course it has.

As far as I can recall, in the ToS it's strictly forbidden to own a PayPal account if you are under 18 years.Therefor if he had the account under his name and they knew his age, he would have lost the money in both the cases (losing dispute, or having the account limited)

@oskars: great to hear that! I told you to wait some 3 days to see what's really going on as some people really have some problems sometimes...

scammers are also on line so i suggest you pay 50% of the total payment for whatever you are buying on line and then clear the balance when your products are delivered.also always ask for a testimonial of the person your dealing with.

That works most of the time, but if the other guy can prove you had conversations with him then he'll win.
