Scammer & Liar on DP: Moneybully

The user "Moneybully" won my signature link on DP on 4th June. After sending several PMs which went unanswered, I finally got one answered a few days later on Jun 6th 2007, 3:58 am saying:
but nothing happened for several days.

After "Moneybully" posted a domain for appraisal, I was kind enough to give an appraisal, & also posted publically that they still have not replied or paid for my sig link they bought. See: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=358452

I got a reply on that thread:
which they never mentioned anything about, as the only PM I got was the one above! After waiting for several days & sending 1 more PM message saying that link was going to be sold again if I didn't hear back in 12 hours, I put it for sale again since this was clearly a deadbeat buyer. See: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=361967

So I gave this user a negative iTrader yesterday but oviously "Moneybully" didn't like it so decided to give one back for no reason other than payback.

The iTrader they gave me said they sent me another email asking for Paypal details & I didn't answer. I don't even have Email Notifications turned on in my User Options so how can I receive emails from any users anyway? Plus in the multiple PMs I sent them, it had my Paypal & price of it as well.

I just reported this false iTrader rating to the Mods, do you think that they will remove this false iTrader? What happens when users make false iTrader ratings?

As you can see, I'm not too happy with this as I had 100% positive iTrader before this user made a false one.

    I know, it's stupid

    Imhere2009 didn't pay me here:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=353411

He reckons he bid $80 on everything, and won't pay (therefore implying I AM the at fault)

The only thing stopping me form giving him from negative iTrader is that he would reciprocate and the mods wouldn't get rid of it (even though I did absolutely nothing wrong... it's nearly 2 weeks after he won)

Wouldn't pay for those domains either... fag

Honestly though, what can you do...

A clear case of iTrader abuse and someone bidding without sufficient funds to honour the agreement.

Seems like the iTrader rating system is a bit of a joke if users can just give false negative iTrader ratings just to get back at you for giving them a legitimate one & the Mods won't change it. Might as well not have an iTrader system.

BTW, I fogot to post the link to the original auction where Moneybully made the bid for my sig: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=353749

Funny how you want to slander my name & say that I wasn't willing to pay for something when I was willing & able. I wrote you back AFTER I had said I was waiting for a payment. I was all willing to pay for the name infact I was looking for your name when I stumbled across this thread. I never had your paypal info which is WHY I sent the PM again...

I have never lied nor have I scammed anyone. I have always been willing to work things out. Instead of giving me a negative Itrader, it might have been good to PM me again to see what the hold up was. Sometimes there are mistakes as this one clearly seems to be one.

I am not an asshole, nor any other name you want to call me. I have a very busy life outside my internet life, I can't be waiting by my computer waiting for people to email me or whatever! I would understand you posting a thread if I stole money from you, but that's not the case here...

I understand your frustration but I gave that feedback just as factual as they come.

You come in here calling me names, bad mouthing why I made a name choice. You never sent me multiple emails or I would have responded as you state above, I have replied to each & every one of your responses..

Alison aka Moneybully (my name is a spin off of a game that I really like playing)

Never had my Paypal? It was in the multiple PMs I sent you, in which I quoted each of the previous PMs I sent you, so you did have all the info you needed there.

I never said I sent you multiple emails, in fact, I did not even send you 1 email. I sent you several PMs here on DP, & you didn't respond to any except for 1 response saying that you will take care of it in the afternoon, nothing happens, I send another PM the next day, you don't respond, then a day or so later you ask for an appraisal, I was the only one to give you one & also posted that I still have not received payment or a reply to the PM, then a couple of days still pass, so I gave a negative iTrader.

What I'm interested in, is how you sent me an email, when I never even have in my DP Options that any DP members can email me

I never responded to a thread, I sent them a PM saying what I was waiting for. I never received the PM saying that I had 12 hrs & that it was going to be sold again.
The game that I am referring to is a PS2 game

Email/PM they are all the same to me HTML

I delete alot of emails as well to keep my box from getting clumped

So you are saying htmlindex is lying and could not produce this PM for everyone to see? (meaning he must be making it up and you are therefore in the 'right' so to speak)

I'm not saying anyone is lying & if he sent that to me, it was clearly missed. I wanted to buy that link space, I have had the money to do this. I clearly have gotten caught up on other things

It might not have been 12 hrs, but I remember saying that it was going to be sold again soon if I didn't receive a reply/payment.

PM messages automatically pop up on your screen on DP, so you would definately get them when you log in, so you would definately get them

I appologise for calling you an a**hole, but I wasn't too happy getting the negative iTrader for no reason

Would you agree with me in saying that if you receive a PM, it is obvious that you have a new one? (assuming you received it)

I will tell you that when I hit ok my popup blocker kicks in action. I usually hit cancel when it directs me that I cant go to my messages that route, I hit cancel, I go other places, then go "oh I have messages" I get like 5-8 msgs everytime I come here from ppl wanting my services. Yet I never got a message statiung anytime frame or that it was going to be resold or I WOULD HAVE answered

So you never received any PM mentioning that it would be re-sold, or that you had to pay within a certain time?

Did you get any PM from htmlindex in the last couple of days (no matter what was in it), or have you received none at all from him?

No, I didn't send any PMs in the last few days, as I presumed that nothing would be achieved by this, so had the sig re-auctioned, but had another non-paying buyer, as you can see in the original post if you look at the links

Here is my two cents for what it is worth. Htmlindex, the thread was a bit harsh and a little misleading. She really was not a scammer and a-hole was a bit harsh too. Second, you should have set a set time in which she had to pay, when I sell mine, I let the buyer know that they have 24 hours to pay.

Moneybully, you should never bid unless you have cash in hand. It your responsibility to keep the seller informed if you have not paid for something. Busy or not, you made a contract to purchase something and normal practice is to follow through as soon as the auction ends or to keep in contact to make other arrangements.

To be all honest, neither one of you handled the whole thing correctly and the back and forth he said she said does nothing. It is too late to do much about the Itrade so best to end the thread at this point and do things differently in the future.

This is my opinion and I wish both of you Good Luck in the future and a long stay at DP!
