Scammer - distributing/selling works without rights

hello, would a member be eligible to be banned for selling/distributing works (custom made template) without rights/permission .he was involved in minor editing of template few weeks back now i found him selling and also distributing same work.not sure if bad itrade would top him .

 

I'd like to know this too.
I suppose there are two slight variations.
The first is people who try to sell my templates as their own/unique, with my copyright info removed etc.
The second is people who are selling their site, which uses one of my templates, but they have removed the footer links which means they do not have permission to be using it. Most of the time people put the links back in, but there have been a couple of people who wouldn't.

quick question cuz i dont know where else to post, but how long does it take for your profile pic to approve or come up?

 

DP staff can not check who is and who is not the rightful owner of any work for sale on DP. if you have your own work sold here on DP then take your proof of copyright to a court and obtain a court order to stop anyone selling your work, when you send this to DP admin, then your work (only that item/s listed) will be protected.
