So the difference is only of one "s" in the second "quantan". People are really going to be cheap day by day. May be within short period you will see Bill Gates chatting with you & dealing with you on messenger about his microsoft products.:p

That is really interesting. I have received spam in these forums and messages linking to advertisements within these forums but nothing like that. That would be weird though. I do also receive a few adds to yahoo with people advertising... Hmm maybe I'll remove my yahoo messenger link and if someone wanted to chat with me, they could ask for it... it's sad that I have to limit communication like that, I really shouldn't have to.

Man this is crap, someone can just steal your ID from DP and act like it's you.
You should always confirm via PM.

Must confirm by sending PM like Zoomone did. Don't just trust on IM chats.

Shame Shame. Well why don't you stop dealing on Yahoo and only do it via messages on your sale thread. Ask the other person to disclose his username in public if he is dealing with you.

P.S : This by no way will stop from any scam but at least u will have a relief that someone on some Messenger is not trying to scam you with any reputed members name.
