Hi, I have just joined recently and have already been successfully scamed two times. I guess I was a llittle bit too enthusiastic, and went for some deals that turned out not to be good.

I am looking forward for some good deals and real OK people in the future.

I dont think I have seen a thread where new members can be advised on what to look for to recoginize a scam deal. Also a general thread with a title Scammer alert would perhapse be a good Idea, so whan a scam deal pops up members can post a link in such a thread.

    Thank you

I think its a nice idea to have "Scammer Alert" section...

and for you a suggestion please look at the person's rep and itrader when dealing with him and also look at the deal which you are doing dont drop into any kind of deal which is more than attractive to believe.

    i hope this helps...

It was in the buy, sell, trade section. I didn't contact the mods. Can they do sometihng about that at all? I mean the guy was banned the same day since a lot of people were scammed, so the mods probably knew about him right away.

    Welcome to DP!
"If it sounds too good - it is most likely a scam"
... in other words - there is no magic cash machine that you set up in 5 minutes... Making money online takes time to learn, it takes effort as well.

    Good luck

yup... gotten that too. iTrader history is a good place to start. Also check their recent posts to see if they have been involved in other deals in the past... if so, what was the outcome? Play it safe!

    Welcome to DP!

Welcome to Dp. Sorry to hear that. When you buy somethng, you can look for itraders and how long the person is registered in DP. This will give you a clear idea about a scammer or good buyer/seller!
