Bought a script from pardiowars. The script was encrypted making you go through their support for any fixes or additions. Script is useless for anyone that wants to edit the site or add mods and completely relying on their support. PayPal does not protect buyers from a virtual sale. Because i received 'something' I have no protection despite receiving garbage. So if you have no ethics or morals (like pardiowars) then you can sell anything virtually and as long as you send something (some free script you found laying around) then you get to keep their money when they complain. PayPal even said I could do this, sell something and send garbage!
Used my paypal balance so can't do a chargeback. I would have used a credit card, but i thought buyers were protected against fraud. They seem to be protecting buyers less and less every year.
i did. paypal declined it because i received the script. even despite the script being unusable in the encrypted state. my fault for being honest and saying i received it they do not dispute if the virtual product you received is fake/materially different/etc etc. the lady basically said i could do the same thing sell something virtually and they couldn't do a chargeback if i send them something.
im waiting to hear back from paypal as i have had problems as well with pardiowars and if i get nowhere there trading standerds are my next step as the script i resived is full of bugs that when i posted on there sight i got told to wait for v2 or they just deleted the post that to me is not 12 months support and there is no way to correct it ourself because it is coded so every one that has bought it just has to sit there after spending the money then the suport runs out befor they even get a fully working script
The world is full of sick people who crave money. The best advise to give to you is open an Account with MONEYBOOKERS.com. They would have tracked down the culprit with speed and he would have had to pay fines.
