DP will certainly not ban that guy.
But if you can prove that he cheated with you, He is going to be bombarded with Reds and ofcource he will become famous as a scammer and no body is going to buy or sell anything from that person.
I don't know if he is a scammer or not... but just telling what will happen if he is really a scammer.

By the way, these scam things, transfer very fast between people.
Even the mods might help the innocent people.

    BY THE WAY.

How on earth eric made a topic in the buy. sell or trade section? He doesnt have 25 posts.

And ofcource, never buy a site of so highly priced without either talking through IM.. or if he is some new person having very few posts and not known!
    His reputation also seems dull!

The most intresting thing is he was here to scam and he got a way to scam..
He didnt have required 25 posts to make a thread in BST forums, so how come that thread exists??
My assumption is he made this thread somewhere else on forums (e.g. General Chat or The Underground) and a Mod moved it without even looking on his post Count OR he made 25 (Spam) posts but later they were deleted by Some mod, leaving the scammer on the totla post count of 19.

either way its a failure of DP rules enforcement, Specially if it was case one then its a terrible mistake by Mod.

I agree we cant access outside records like Paypal transactions but we should try to enforce DP rules successfully.

Otherwise whats the use of rules??

You're not the only ones. Check out what I dug up at WHT.

Sorry to hear about all the bad transactions that has happened to all of you. This just makes me more adament about only transferring with those with verified high rating paypal accounts.

Ever since yfs1 stopped moderating, we're all humans again :p . Your two explanations seem plausible (more than plausible - trust me). Anyhow, it's still not our responsiblility to cover your ass so no need to make a drama of it.

I rather doubt that except Sarah and Shannon there is *Any* *Human* mod :p

Thank you, but I have got my own stuffs (Trousers, Khakis, Pants, Underwears, leafs, hand...) to cover my ass..

I wasnt claiming that it was mods' responsibility to cover our *deals*(Not ass, for that matter), however it sure is your responsibility to ensure that rules here would be enforced...(i.e. no thread in BST untill post count of 25..)

Anyway I feel its was a mistake and even Bots *cough**wink wink* do make mistakes....

Your feelings are wrong... We make no mistakes :) You answered the situation yourself before. That's exactly what happened.

Interesting thing about that thread is...

So at WHT he got kicked out... and here you just get a "you are on your own and we do not police threads" reply.

Hmmmm. I think you may have hit on the eventual 'achilles heel' of Digital Point, Fryman; if this is allowed to continue unabated. DP will become known as the scammers paradise and instead of the good reputation it currently enjoys, will attract the type of person guaranteed to drive the better type of user away.

Just my 2-cents worth of opinion.

That is why sitepoint is sinking... it is scammer's heaven over there.

Just take a look at the post by the idiot they have as an admin there (mmj, first post of the thread)

    http://www.sitepoint.com/marketplace/auction/975?

That seller tried to post his junk here and everyone told him to go to hell, so he just moves over to sitepoint and is hugged by the admins and allowed to do whatever he wants.

:( still a scammer :(. Why are these scammers entering DP . Is there any way to stop them attacking DP? Is there any anti-scammer software that we use to take them away from DP? :D

You really need to do your homework when buying anything from a newish member. Fair enough if its someone thats been around a long time and has really good reputation, no problem. Otherwise use a service like Escrow, if there legit they will have no problem with that, if there out to rob you they wont. Get a feel for the situation, talk on msn, dont rush into anything. Mostly all cases of online fraud can be avoided with a little common sence.

You woudnt give someone on the street £££ to buy something, while he went away and got it for you, no you give him the cash when he brings back your merchandise.
