Hello DP Mods and users: First, sorry for my bad english, I am spanish. In 5th Nov I started this thread in Templates category, http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1560917 The user iatbm (with 160 +iTraders) contact with me via PM and he said me 35$ for work. I paid in the momment to his PayPal account. He said me 24 hours to end work and I accepted. In 12th Nov, I contact with iatbm because he not sent me work (everydays he said me tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow) and I said "Please, if you can't do work, refund my money to find other designer". He said me his boss refund my money...but he not refund... Today (16th Nov) I sent neg iTrader and I lost my money. This is my unique bad experience in DP and I am frustrated.
You don't have to "call tomorrow to PayPal", just file a dispute over the transaction in your account. If he doesn't offer a refund, escalate the claim. It's no biggie, just open the dispute.
Explain ur situation with screenshots and with as much possible details to paypal so they could judge the case fairly.
Whatever.... I refunded him the money. I was pretty sick and could not finish the job I took from him. I explained that to him couple of times and even apologised and I told him I will refund all of the money asap and I did that. To think I will scam someone for lousy $35 is just plain stupid. He is pretty much a guy you cannot reason with so beaware doing business with him since he send millions of PMs and don't understand anything you say to him. He opened the dispute even if I told him I will refund him in full. TaTeTu : I refunded you so this is closed case for me. I am sorry since it was my mistake but you just don't listen and you start shouting scammer all over the place.
Yes, You've paid back the money now. After I've taken steps and takes 20 days laughing at me. You've been lying to me. Now you say you were sick ... But it was not for the visits? Sorry but I do not like dealing with people lying. I've been patient. We agree to work in 24 hours. I wait a week. And now you've taken 11 days to refund my money. What do you want?
Honestly, it's probably none of my business but.. I'm probably going to have to side with iatbm on this one..I don't have half of his iTrader, but my amount is still a pretty reputable amount, yet there are still people who go crazy if you don't respond to them the same day. Seriously, I'm trying to make off into paradise with your $30 bucks..get real man! There's a "receipt" function for PMs that apparently people aren't aware of :\
Don't get me wrong. I did screw up since I didn't deliver what I promised. Reasons were objective, still it was my fault at the end but I promised him I will refund him. Guess he didn't believe me and lost his patience with me....certainly no need for calling names, liar, etc from his side.
I give PHP scripts to people that I make, and allow them to see a SS of it. Once I'm done, I PM them saying that I'm done, and will send it to their email after payment. When I receive the money, I immediately send them their script. It's better to actually have it done, before they send the money. Not to send the money, and to not have it done. Bottom Line: Get done with the script, then ask the customer to send the money, and give the script to them immediately. Thanks.
Nobody is perfect, though, is the point I'm trying to make. He needs to be mature enough to respect that you couldn't meet your deadline as opposed to being childish and posting a thr----- oh wait, too late. Good luck in resolving this, though.
Actually...his $35 is a joke against the work I did and didn't get paid for here on DP because I didn't request payment in advance. Still I refund while scammers don't. That is the difference.....
