hey ive been offered some money for a site of mine but the person has 0 posts on the forum (sp) and i got it through pm. I was a bit suspicious as i've heard of payment then domian transfer then the buyer somehow claiming the money back and keeping the domain through paypal. can this actually happen?
Why not tell him/her that you will wait several days until the money has cleared. Beware of scams that may hit your account and then be reversed. Find out as much about this person as you can after you hear the offer. Best of all this is a domain which is tied to something (and subject to dispute resolution) and not a good where you have no ability to retreive it assuming it is a scam. Once that iPod you sell is out the door it's gone...
