My best article at Ezinearticles has made me $1000+ every month for the last year - it's called 'product name scam' and it's ranked no.1 in Google (so higher than the actual products website). The product isn't actually a scam and I've written the article in such a way that people really believe that it isn't by the time they've finished reading the article. My CTR is about 40% and I have a kick ass presell on my landing page as well.

I think that's a excellent point. But I also clicked on it because I saw it was originated by bl4ckmaN^ who has made some pretty good contributions to this forum, and if HE was warning of a scam, I figured it would be a good thing to consider.

what are the chances that some of those "scam" ads are the work of a clever marketer who told their customers that using the scam keyword, actually makes sales?

I'd say, the people who put a search for product name without scam, are clicking ads, because something made them want to click it, perhaps a catchy ads. When they click through, the landing page doesn't have much to do about scams, and perhaps the customer forgets about the scam part.

Also, the scam ads are pretty much bashing some other product, and pushing their own instead. Kinda taking the focus off the original topic and setting them up for another buy.

I too was thinking that bl4ckman^ was warning us of something.

Actually people do search for the keywords 'product name scam' especially on the higher gravity, more popular products. People want to know they aren't going to get ripped off before purchasing a product. I always use them as part of my keywords campaigns/seo work.

I think your pre-sell needs to be tailored for it. Be honest and say you were recently in the market for _ and was afraid you would get scammed. But you found __ and it was awesome. Buy __.

just give them a kind of fake proof (if you dont have the actual), yes these people want to buy stuff and just looking for something they can be sure of, give a nice review for those keywords and wow you just sold them a good product (at least they think so :p)

I target this keyword quite often when I am doing bum marketing for CB products and I have had great success with it.

I think they are no potential buyers, just people that on low internet connection that are downloading things from warez sites, and don't want to lose their time and money.

People who are looking for "review" are great people that want to buy, and i just love that!!!
