I was reading a post by Ryan Lee here http://ryanlee.com/no-commission/ and I happen to watch one video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0LZ6DNCgrY) in the comment and man I was confused for a while. This video whoever created it claims almost all IM marketers are scammers. Please watch it and write your comment. The creator even says that he wants some legal action on these marketers. I do not agree on what he is saying because not every IM marketer is a scammer. However I am not comfortable on some practices of these marketers such as not telling you what you are getting and a series of upsells because I myself got replies on my ads from customers telling me how much they are disappointed. So sure there is a problem in the IM industry but also surely there are genuine products and services. Please watch video and comment.
Not every IM is a scammer but the majority are. He has probably been scammed so many times and just venting his frustration. The difficulty is knowing who the genuine marketers (small percentage ) are. The internet allows anonymity and people are able to do things they are unable to do face to face however my view is that if you are a dishonest person online you are also dishonest in real life. Good people have a conscience and cannot hide behind their computers to hurt others. It is a sad world we live in and unfortunately there will always be people who would spoil everything for everyone. Just do what makes you sleep well at night knowing you haven't hurt anyone intentionally.
I'll tell you this, most people in I.M. are at least somewhat full of shit. Most of them at least exaggerate and or make false claims. Find the gurus and learn from them. Good luck
