SCAM ALERT: SatelliteInternetSpecial's HughesNet and Wildblue Programs

I have been waiting for SatelliteInternetSpecial to pay me for over 3 months for a sale that was generated through my link on DishShop.us. I know the sale went through because my sister-in-law purchased Hughes through my link on New Year's eve with me sitting there.

I have contacted them and commission junction regarding the payment. They (SatelliteInternetSpecial) never replied and cj told me that the sale that was made was considered a lead instead of a sale although it was definitely a sale.

I want to let all affiliates know because I would hate to see anybody using search engine marketing and lose a lot of money because this company doesn't pay their affiliates. As for me, I am dropping the program as well because if a company doesn't want to pay an affiliate, they should be banned from affiliate marketing. (Just a thought).

Just another of many companies shaving to boost their bottom line. Happens all the time. CJ doesn't really care as long as they are getting paid... but you may want to push them a bit. You can write them and you'll get a canned response most likely... but it's worth a shot. Why? Because they require a deposit on account to participate. So if you can convince CJ you may still get paid.

Ok, here is the update....I have sent 4 messages to cj as of today. Each reply they tell me, in essence, says that the advertiser doesn't pay for sales.

In the advertisers terms, it states:
    1. Action: HughesNet Satellite High Speed Internet Lead
ActionCriteria Customer must submit qualification for service and then complete the online purchasing process and receive an order confirmation number.
    Action Referral Period 45 day(s)
    Action Referral Occurrences Unlimited
    Commission $0.00 USD
Locking Period - Standard Actions lock on the 10th of the month, unless extended.

    2. Action: HughesNet Satellite High Speed Internet Sale & Activation
ActionCriteria Customer must submit qualification for service and then complete the online purchasing process and receive an order confirmation number. Service must be installed for 60 days to be commissionable.
    Action Referral Period 45 day(s)
    Action Referral Occurrences Unlimited
    Commission $60.00 USD
Locking Period - Standard Actions lock on the 10th of the month, unless extended.

They (cj) are not looking at the 2nd action. My sister-in-law, who signed up, still has service with HughesNet and that has been almost 120 days ago, yet they won't pay and cj won't make them pay. It is really hacking me off just a bit!

Anyway, I will post an update if I actually do get paid!

CJ.com is like SEDO.com - total crap but they are biggest so they can behave like that.
I wanted to create subaccounts as some of the projects/domains I run with friends so annual earnings doesn't tell me enough data who should get what amount of $.

And adding new domain doesn't work for me for past 2 years. Send about 5 e-mails about this issue but nothing happens, I even didn't get reply.

Just like Sedo - they think they are monopoly forever no matter how they behave to their customers.

Its stories like this that make me appreciate Amazon even more. During this month, a full third of the orders (including one $388 order) I've gotten were from items I'm not even promoting.
