So I just started this PPC thing not too long ago and I have one somewhat successful zip campaign thats netting about $3-$5 a day. I keep hearing about how once you have a successful campaign going, you should go about "scaling" it. My question is, how exactly do you scale a campaign? I currently already have it running on Adwords, YSM, and Adcenter. What else is there next to do? Run it on Ask.com or other smaller search engines?
You can scale it by starting campaigns on second tier search engines like Ask.com, yes...but that is oftentimes hit or miss. The traffic is much cheaper there, but it's also much poorer. You've already got campaigns running on the big search engines. Have you thought about adding more keywords? You can expand your current lists and also generate some new lists that are related, but a little bit different than what you're currently bidding on. If profit margin is good, you can also increase your bids to get your ads in higher positions (thus more clicks)
thanks, i'll probably try to generate some more keywords and see if it works. I'm not quite sure the margin is quite high enough yet to bid higher though...
