By going through several webmaster forums, you can find a lot of threads discussing about MFA sites. Webmasters aren't unanimous in what is MFA site, but they are absolutely together on this issue: they hate MFA sites. Personally I think there are probably alot of webmasters that have sites they made for adsense, but they wouldn't like to admit. Even hundreds of MFA sites are born every day, it seems that there is no room for them: advertisers hate them, Search Engines don't like them, directories refuse their inclusion request etc. So, I have decided to make a place for them: the first SEO friendly directory on the net that accepts MFA sites only. As mentioned above, MFA site definition varies, so there is only one rule: We approve only the sites that has Google Adsense code on it. If you own a site that you made for Adsense, you are welcome to add it to our directory. If you think some site is MFA site, please submit to our directory also. So, come on and be the first honest man who says:
It depends on how is made for adsense. The term "Made for adsense" itself is not against Adsense TOS. Perhaps Google likes them.
Google's Program Policies state: "No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant." So Made for AdSense sites are in essence a breach of this policy - but Google turns a blind eye for the same reason that webmasters make these sites. Because there is sweet, juicy, easy money to be made!
On reflection, that statement in the TOS is simply too vague. Google would not continue to exist without the ads. The purpose of the Google site has morphed from presenting search results to presented relevant ad results. Time Magazine would not exist without the ads. ABC, NBC, CBS, Global, etc etc etc would not continue to exist without ads. Their sole purpose is to deliver a product which attracts people so that they can be fed ads. How many us, truly, would maintain our sites without ads? Or paid subscribers? This entire debate lacks definition.
Hi, guys. We have first man who says: I MADE IT FOR ADSENSE. So, award for this honest man, we will: 1. Make his link be featured link and it will appear on the top category of our directory soon. 2. Allow him to put our logo on his website. 3. We are considering to give him some centificate, likes: Centificate for first honest man over the net. Of course, if the man approve. Actually we can't disclose who is this man now from privacy reason. We let you informed when we are approved to do this. Tuan.
Hi, all. Actually we received more than 40 sites that the owner made for adsense. Many sites have really very solid design, that I think owner can be really proud of them. And advertisers have profit from them also. We have two free premium listing on top category (the link is placed on our home page). If someone has interest, please PM me. Thanks. Tuan.
Finally someone takes the initiative to collect all the MFA sites. Some others even honestly admit their sites are made for AdSense and submit them to the directory. Well done, guys. Thank you for being honest to the web community. AdSense team, do you know what to do with these MFA sites, don't you?
Stop this at once! What if someone where to stumble across your MFA link site and go on a clicking spree on these sites and get them all banned? What would happen to the Adsense forum? There would be no more 'how I made a million with Adsense' ebooks to slag off, no more links to hilarious pages with Ads but no content and there would be zillions of posts from chancers complaining that Google had banned their accounts. Keep the Staus Quo at DP, save an MFA site today Cheers BP
I once e-mailed Google Adsense help and asked how much content a page had to have. They told me just enough so the mediabot could determine what ads to show.
