Saving API query results in local database?

    Hi

Just curious if API users are allowed to save the results. In my opinion, it would be redundant to to query engine for similar search.

Now the problem arises what if the data changes in search-engine's API. To cover that, there should be a way to get the feed of "Recently Updated" items.

    So, my questions are:
    1. Can I save the API query results in my local database?
    2. Is there a way to just get "Recently Updated" items feed?

    Please advise. Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can save the results in your database. I don't see how that could cause any problems. Maybe if you offered the database for sale, but even then it would most likely be okay.

I don't know of any "recent updated" feeds though. Google Alerts maybe?
