save as whatever.php doesn't work!!

I installed the wampserver. I opened and entered a basic php code into an wordpad
then I "save as" with .php extension.
Unfortunately the file seems anonymous and didn't work when I opened it from firefox.
what is the problem, what should I do?? I searched google, I looked up the forum, but I couldn't find any help.

 

Did you save it in the C:\wamp\www folder? did you call it with the localhost/whatever.php
