You can read about it and find out how to help by going to: www.savems.tk If you are against injustice please pass the url on to your friends and family and MSN etc. contacts, the family greatly appreciate any and all help & support they receive especially as this is the safety of a 4yo girl which the Court of Sessions in Edinburgh has turned their back on! Thanks!
There's always one. What's not legit about it? The email address is to MP Frank Roy's London office(check if you wish), he is the MP for Motherwell & Wishaw, we live in Motherwell (and the mother, my mum, was forced by order of the court to travel to Edinburgh numerous times, about a 50 minute journey one way), there is also a facebook group titled "SAVE ANNE-MARIE CAMPBELL'S DAUGHTER FROM BEING EXTRADITITED BACK TO AU!!" which if you're on facebook you'll find straight away searching the title, which has provided almost 700 signatures and currently has about 800 members. The difference in spelling of name (Anne-Marie and Ann-Marie) is because of a letter Mr Roy sent, he'd spelled it Ann, and so for consistency for his sake it's spelt Ann-Marie. I thank amwyyytg and cricketer, as well as any one else who has supported this, however, Razorloq, please make sure you're well informed before making unfounded, sarcastic comments in the future. Again, the email address is to MP Frank Roy's London office. Google and you will see it on media sites, as well as Labour (the party he works for), or send an email asking youself. Scot
Thanks man, sure will. She's here with us but is due to be going to Aus in about a week with our mum and other sister (they're both half-sisters to me and full sister's with themselves) the court will only pay for M-S' airfare, while my mum is left to pay for her own and for her other daughter, it's a disgrace, the case could be heard in Scotland(which would work out cheaper too especially as the opposition had a plane ticket and was going to fly over here) but because of the Hague convention they've ordered it be in Victoria, Australia, so we're trying to have the decision reversed and at the very least have the case heard on English & Welsh soil, where the Hague convention doesn't apply.
They received order on Monday to fly out yesterday(her lawyer here paid for the airfares that the court won't pay), and have landed in Melbourne about an hour ago. Mr Roy had written letters basically telling the Consulate to look after them, so accommodation will be taken care of. Some relatives will be providing funding and I'll be flying over probably next week to help out and provide support. It's actually estimated that this will take no more than a few weeks given the circumstances(apparently only reason they were extradited is because of Hague convention, and Scots law/UK doesn't seem to care that their citizens are being removed despite support against it - e.g Gary McKinnon), so we'll see.
That's the point though. We are not fully informed because we are hearing one half of a story. Let us hear the views of the other party before we can make a considered judgement. Last I heard in the UK, witchhunts are illegal as are vigilantes
Of course. Well I don't have the contact details for them (nor would I want them) but I can say without any doubt that the reason this is going on is because he just wants to get at my mum. E.g in Australia when the custody stuff started (after he kidnapped my sister, which caused my mums great fear of her daughter's safety and lead to her then doing the same, bringing her back to Scotland) the court ordered that she live with my mum most of the time. During the negotiations via the Judge, as we had no transport we asked that the handovers be done at the local McDonald's, being a convenient location, while the opposition (who have a car) returned with wanting it to be done at a McDonald's in the city, clearly of no benefit to either party involved and obviously an attempt at, as I said, getting at my mum, having to travel to the city every time to collect and hand over her daughter. Obviously I don't expect you to believe any of this (at least until it's over with) as already you seem skeptical. How is this anything to do with witch hunts and vigilantes? And such may not be legal but that doesn't stop UK Soldiers from taking part.
It's nothing to do with being skeptical in the slightest. But I'm not involved in the situation and therefore can have an unbiassed view on it. Things are never as they appear on the surface and all I'm saying is that until I get both sides of the argument, it's hard to side with either one. Any possible skepticism on my side only serves to show that I like to be presented with "All" the facts before I judge.
As it stands though it's impossible to present the situation 100% to the general public - at least until it's ended, and even then of course things must be omitted - as the evidence is in the form of court documents. The reason I posted here was to potentially find another handful of people who perhaps have been through a similar situation (odd place to do so I know but it was worth a try) as the idea was get as much support as possible in an attempt to have the decision reversed. It was a losing battle(this situation has proven time and time again that the government here just don't care, everyone who's hit with the Hague convention like this has lost and been extradited) but the "war"s not over yet(we've lost the battle, we will not lose the war kind of thing), which my mums legal teams expect to be over with in a few weeks and we'll all be back home in Scotland. Despite this, the future is uncertain and we have no concrete idea of how long it will take, my sister is starting school soon so she'll need to get back for that but can't if she's stuck over in Australia, which is why we wanted to have it stopped(the extradition) in the first place or if it can't be heard in Scotland then in Wales or England, which would still be an inconvenience but clearly not as much as going to Australia which is also more of a financial inconvenience(thankfully her lawyer stepped in and had his business pay for airfares).
Thanks to everyone that has supported us! We've won (opposition basically backed down and doesn't want to continue - all he wanted was to get them removed from Scotland and stuck in another country w/ no money etc -, proving that they done it out of spite which we knew all along but it was proving that) and will be returning home soon, just waiting for a court date so we can get the blocks removed from their passports.
