One of India's all-time cricketing greats and the most successful captain India has ever had, Saurav Ganguly, has announced his retirement. The "Dada" said he'd retire after the four-match series against Australia commencing this Thursday.
i really liked his game it will be an end of a great career but a good start to many youngsters into the team.
he is really a nice player but chepal disturb them and he is surfing from many difficulty i dont like cricket too much but i m like sourav.
He has played really well in the past. Would be a rare moment to see him play the last ball of the last match.
my most memorable moment is seeing india beat australia for the test series in India way back under gangulys captaincy.. waz a gr8 leader for the team and an elegant player.. real bad to see the way he was kicked in and out of the team.. its good to see him getting a farewell atleast
I started watching cricket only because of him. In his early days he was so sublime and elegant. No one can forget his drives on the off-side and his massive sixes. DADA rocks..
Very touching movement for millions of Indian cricket fans but it has to come and Ganguly has great life ahead and he can be one of the best coaches if he continues to stay in Cricket world of which I am quite hopeful.
It has to be someday. Nice carrier, can never forget the shirt spin he did during the natwest series win
Am surely going to miss him a cricket match with our saurav ganguly will be sad! but time goes on...... anyways, a good decision to retire as this will open up gates for lots of youngsters.
