Source: Agence France Presse The Saudis shut down one of their tabloids today, because that tabloid was about to print the famous Mohammad cartoon again. The purpose was to try to incite an increase in the boycotts and demonstrations. The funny part of this story? The tabloid is called "Shams". In other Saudi news: "A private Islamic Saudi satellite channel Al-Majd has also broadcast the prophet cartoons with the same goal of stepping up the boycott." The paper will most likely be opened for business in a day or two, after they agree to not try the stunt again.
