[*]Islamic state fears effect of 'tempting' eyes on men [*]Says it 'has the right' to issue repressive edict [*]Women must already cover their hair and wear full-length black cloak http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...tive-eyes-forced-cover-resolution-passed.html
Sharia law and all that it entails is extremely crazy to me. I understand there are differences in cultures around the world, but to oppress women to that point is absolute lunacy and completely unfair to those women. They might as well tell them they can't leave the house and stay in the kitchen and cook and take care of the kids because you have NO rights and are extremely unequal. That's all I can say without getting peeved over it.
That's how they live, they like it so we should leave them alone. Sharia law is there for something. If they didn't like that, they would have widthdrew that law...
But when you've been beaten down through years of something and generations don't know any better, who's going to fight that. They fought against it and were actually pretty free in Iran in the 70's and rule changed hands and they started persecuting again. Sometimes there's nothing you can do. . . So you say it's there for something and we should just respect it. What if their law said that every woman should have to have sexual relations with the ruling elite or the wealthy to lose their virginity or on their wedding night like they did in England with Scotland? Would you just say, "well, it's there for a reason?" Just because a group of people believes or lives with something doesn't necessarily make it right. I'm not saying anyone is exclusively right, but I'm just saying that everyone should get some forms of freedom and equality, otherwise it's just sexist slavery in this case.
What's wrong with you people? These peace lovers are simply try to subjugate their women peacefully..
seems like dailymail made the story up. http://ksa.daralhayat.com/ksaarticle/330415 use google translate tool.
real news or not, this kind of oppression against women is prevalent in Muslim sects, especially the ones who observe the harshest of traditions. It has come to a point that, the Muslim woman's purpose in the community is to serve her husband and the children. She does not deserve of any high position in office, but in exchange, she is adhered with great respect, even by her husband inside the household. She holds a challenging role, and a hard one. It is out of our jurisdiction on to what their tradition does with their women. If their sects could bear seeing our women exposing almost everything in public, we should also understand that their traditions only make women expose almost nothing in public.
