Hey, how about this new thing?

Culture and Islam both masked by the darkness of life?

Cultural holocaust? Burqa clad and still fear rape? Come on, the man is a protector, you are insulting him.

Millions of years ago, there were two cavemen, Ogg and Trogg. Ogg was horny and he had eight offspring. Trogg was more interested in hunting and he had only four offspring. Disease, war, and accidents killed off four of Trogg's kids, but only six of Ogg's. The horny gene had the numerical advantage.

A few generations later, two of Ogg's descendants, Ugg and Trugg, live in the same area. Ugg was slightly more horny than Trugg. As a result, Ugg had more offspring than Trugg. As a result, more of Ugg's genes survived.

A few generations later, two of Ugg's descendants played the same game. And then their descendants and their descendants and their descendants, over and over again for millenia, until now males of our species think about sex an average of 13 times a day -- more than once every waking hour.

Well British researchers are known for coming out whit all kinds of wacky studies :p In the old days they studied mechanics , aerodynamics and chemistry . Nowadays it would appear that their research division is headed by a goatherd or something .

So, what specifically did you find faulty with their methodology? Please explain in depth, along with how you would design an improved methodology.

Oh no. Just a passing comment targeted more at our great researchers than your source. (I guess you meant the UK researchers)

    More seriously (added later):
That article doesn't talk anything about the methodology used to arrive at the conclusion instead goes on belting out figures. Also, there is no mention of whether the survey was conducted worldwide or was just limited to certain cities of UK. In any case, I can safely claim that Muslims were not surveyed even though they form just a little less than the third of the world population. More over, the sample size of 3,000 people is just way too small to deduce a thing as private as this considering the near 6 billion population.

My guess is, men and women in Islamic countries must be thinking about sex and doing it more than their counterparts in the rest of the world . he he
