I think he's a bit brash in his delivery, but the point is that as it stands right now, once oil money dries up, there's really only agriculture to trade; and that's predicated on whether they can actually irrigate enough to grow large scale agriculture in such a desert landscape suited primarily for oil industry.

They are well aware that oil revenues will one day disappear, they are working on being less reliant on oil revenues. At the moment there's 80 more years of oil money, plenty of time to plan for the future.

I'm not a hater man, I have no reason to hate anyone.. My point is SA is not prepared for post oil era.. UAE on the other hand is.. Dubai realized that oil isn't going to last always and developed itself as one of the hottest destination in the world.. UAE has the same Sharia Law, but they are more relaxed.

Even countries who are dependent on the oil imports are working on alternative source.. So what is Saudi Arabia doing again?

 

LOL. Dubai is totally bankrupt and it is also a shit hole. The real estate situation is so bad and people are so desperate that they are probably even ready to exchange their apartment in Dubai with a place in an Indian village.

When was the last time you were in Dubai? I was there about 2 months ago. The boom in Dubai is finished. It was fueled by Iranian money when they decided to become too friendly with USA, they started to move their money out to Turkey and now you can see the boom in Turkey. The whole real estate expansion was a fraud to cheat European, the same as it was done in Bulgaria and other places. Why do you want to stay in a place which has some shitty weather which makes it only possible for you to be in your home, hotel or shopping mall?
