Saturday and Sunday payment

    Hello,

    If I got the "27 Dec Payment in progress" message on the Wednesday is
    it possible my EFT could be put in my bank on Saturday or Sunday or
    will it have to wait till Monday or after. Has anyone been issued
    payment on Saturday or Sunday? Im in the uk, bank is rbs.

    I've been wondering that as well. Hopefully it goes in on the weekend as well! :)

    My payment hit on friday, so I won't see it till monday. Since banks are closed Sat/Sun, if a payment is sent then, you wouldn't see until the second banking day (tuesday), since it wouldn't technically be received by the bank until monday.

    I got paid on saturday...

    banks are still open on Saturday/Sun where im from.....

    it depends on the bank, country and the local regulations such as Central bank clearing the transaction.
