    Dude..there aint nothing liek that..

    what you are saying is actually there are two types of satellites(for internet)

    All these satellite internet providers which give us sat internet..are two ways..

    One way is way too different..its only used for Uplinking..thats used by VSAT providers..

    this is waht i heard from one of my bros friend who is an RF Antenna Engineer...

    I`ve used skydsl from 53 degree east express-am 22 satellite.It was a one way.You can use it with gprs from your cell phone no need for a dial-up connection.It is not that expensive too.

    When I was researching sats I was shocked that the US ones literally are not even 1 1/10th of the speed that Europe offers. Even other third world country areas had better and faster service.

    Well here in the U.S. there is or was such a thing as one-way. When I first got direcway years ago, I had the one way. I had to have a phone line connected or it wouldn't work. I upgraded to the two way so I'm not sure if they ever phased out the one way or if they still offer it.

    yeah u got it right...actually i havent liveed in US..so dont know much about there..i was thinking it might be the same as European tech..but just read...
    like u need some dialup for uploading somehting like that..

    but i guess nowadays u get two ways too..it might be more expensive tho
