    Happy Holidays everyone.

This guy in Washington wanted to make a statement about the commercialization of Christmas... I think I agree ;)

Yeah. I read that in newspaper some two days back. Though that man showed his protest against commercializing Santa, he has no right to hurt other person's feelings :(

We must be sensitive to others beliefs and be responsible on what we say.

But what does putting Santa on a cross has anything to do with the commercialization of christmas?
He could have find much better ways to kill santa

He could have put him on a fish tank filled with sharks:eek:

Tie him down to to the rail road:eek:

there are many creative ways, this cros thing is getting old :D

That's what makes the news. There is a lot of controversy reported by the media every day. There's also a lot more offensive (to Christians) things posted on this forum (like scams... which actually break one of the 10 commandments). I think most Christians understand this guy's message is more to remember Jesus and not to place Santa above him.

His intention was not to hurt anyone's feelings... but just to make a statement about the mix-up regarding Christmas symbols.

There's too much emphasis these days on being "Political Correct". Aren't we also being offensive by using, "Merry Christmas" on everything? Christians are not the only ones celebrating this "Holiday".

Tis the season of mixed messages...

    I know, I was just fooling ;)

I heard a funny (true) story not too long ago.
A boy approached his parents wanting an expensive toy. After some deliberation the boy was told that it just wasn't in the budget that year.

Feeling dejected, the boy went away and thought about it for a while. He had a brilliant idea, he went back to his parents and told them that they didn't need to worry about expensive toy, he had it under control...wow his parents thought...that was nice of him. :)

The boy told them that they could just get him other stuff and that he'd just ask Santa for the big ticket item :D
