Sandboxed PR5 or almost out PR2

We have two domains a PR2 on which a site already runs. It is still slightly in the sandbox but has signs of comming out.

We have recently bought a PR5 domain which has not been used in a while and might possibly be in the sandbox.

Both domain names apply very much to the site and it will be very easy to change the site to the PR5 one.

We have a few backlinks estabilished to the PR2 domain (but since they are all paid, no great loss)

The question is, should we move the site to the new PR5 domain or stay with the PR2.

PR doesn't mean much these days. I would go with the domain that has the best rankings in google for your target keywords.

well that would be neither right now. but the old PR5 one is an older domain and still has PR5 even though it has not been used by anyone.

I agree PR don't mean that much anymore. Maybe it would be easier to increase the PR5 domains pagerank to sell some text links in the future.

I'll go for the PR5 domain, should also be easier to exchange links with some quality sites, since some Webmasters still love the green bar. :)

What do the signs look like? :)
