Sandbox time - getting longer?

In my experience, sites are now taking longer to come out the sandbox. It may have been 6 months or less just after the Florida update, but since then the waiting period has gotten longer, as far as I can tell. 12 months plus is all too common now.

It would be good if we could set up a poll and get an idea of the average waiting time now. What's people's experiences recently?

    Under 6 months
    6 - 8 months
    9 - 12 months
    Over 12 months

I agree with you, from my experience it seems to be getting longer. My site has been sandbox for coming up to a year now. Don't know what to do really. I am totally whitehat, unique content, updated daily. I just can not get out of that darn box.

Im completely white-hat, and have experienced no more than a 3 month sandbox. Could it depend where/how your site is hosted (which country, domain extension etc) ?

Is the time you're quoting from the domain registration or from the first indexing?

Same here. This whole sandbox business is extremely tedious.

You know see that's where Google needs to get better filters.

Don't get me wrong. I love Google and I use 'em all the time. But I don't think its fair for people that use pure whitehat and aren't spamming or intend to spam to be penalized.

One year is a long time. I'm only 5 months in. Still in the sandbox building a nice castle.
