Well, Here is the question one more time. Is my site going into the Sandbox ?. The difference this time is that I'll explain in detail what's happening to my site. - During the first three weeks of its existence, google was sending 300 referrals per day - All pages were getting indexed - I didn't have any page in the supplemental results - I used a lot of keywords in each page, maybe too many. - I rank well for many keywords And this is what happened after those three weeks: - The referrals sent by google fell sharply, I guess that it was due to the following: - Almost 90% of the pages went supplemental - I didn't rank well anymore for most of the keywords that I used to - Finally, when I try to see all the pages indexed for my site in google, it shows only 35 (before that, it was showing more than 100), meaning they are not even in the supplemental, they dissapeared from google !. As a final note I must say that I am getting backlinks (not recyprocal) from friend sites and directories. My site is about two months old. When I type the main URL of my site I am first. MY QUESTIONS: 1 - Is this the sandbox effect ?, if it is, how do I get to my previous situation, or just get out of it?. Is it a matter of time?, Should I modify my pages? 2 - If it is not, what is ?, Is google banning me ?
Sandbox is really a keyword sandbox; my site like yours still shows up in G, but not for a certain keyword anymore at ALL...over-optimization is real, which is bs screwing over my legitamate link building campaign. Let's just empower ourselves and realize we need to vary anchor text to some extent. I'm going to try and build links to the same page using diff anchor text..hopefully it balances out the one phrase and G lets me rank again for it...what do you think
