I have a couple of fairly new sites (2 and 3 months old) that are in the sandbox. I have a couple of questions

    1) On one of the sites i think i've gained IBL's to quickly. If i drop some of these IBL's is it possible i'll exit the sandbox any quicker?

    2) Any advice of what to do now the site is in the sandbox do i just have to wait and see.

I dont think anybody can offer anything but opinions and speculation. I think the only thing you can do is to continue to build up your site and work on incoming links and let the sandbox take care of itself with time.

    1. i dont believe links have anything to do with the sandbox, but google can punish sites if they build loads of un-natural linsk in a short space of time.

    2. pretend google dosnt exist and get ranked in the other engines.

If the site has been punished due to "unnatural linking" then i find it a bit worrying. Yes i did purchase some site wide links for one of the sites. I could easily have pointed them at a competitor site as i have full control through a admin panel. It would have only cost me about £10 to penalise each competitor site if i was that way inclined.

I know this has been debated before but surely Google should just discount or ignore these links rather than penalise a site over something that they may have no control.

if your competitor's site is new too, yes you can do that
but if it is old and trusted, google will not penalize it and could even benefit from your links
