Sandbox only on Google?

I was just reading another thread about Google and the sandbox. Does anyone know if there is a sandbox on MSN and Yahoo?

(Sandbox being where they don't count incoming links or somehow make your listing keyword ranking bad because your site is new)

Sandbox is with Google only. MSN and Yahoo are free game.

I have noticed that my rakings in yahoo and msn seem to have a small sandbox. I didn't rank well until the second update after getting links and optimizing...It may not be a real sandbox, but did slow me down a bit.

I don't know about a sandbox, but MSN refuses to pick up my new sites for weeks, even after Google and Yahoo have me almost fully indexed.

MSN is the easiest SE to get ranked with as long as you are in the co-op or a have a ton of backlinks. Because of this, it's results tend to be more spammy - which isn't to say some real quality sites get as they also have a lot of backlinks. Google and Yahoo seem to give more weight to static and quality backlinks. You may not be ranking well with MSN because of the number of backlinks to your site.
