I have a website, on which I started working 5 months back. It got to the first page for main keyword in 3 months, then suddenly I started to see huge loss in traffic, so i checked again and it was nowhere in first 10 pages. Later after some days (around 20-25), it came back to 4th page and now it has again moved to 13th page. Can anyone please share any experience as such. PS: I still get good traffic from long-tail keywords (non-competitive) .
Hi, Need to confirm have you posted duplicate content to your website. If you done than don't post anymore
My question is that, is their any way we can view that our website has been pushed in to the sand box by Google.
i just met this strange question in my website as well ranking change frequently anybody know the reason?
been building backlinks like crazy. But since my niche is limited and there are hardly any relevant blog or articles related to it, I am not able to get relevant links form good PR pages. But have created many web 2.0 pages. ITs on the fifth page again. I guess Google is planning something big to fight against spam websites.
Check on your site is any kind of hidden text is present or not? I had got a site that was facing the same problem and when I found and remove hidden text I certainly hit again top rankings..
Maybe it because Google Dance effect. To check whether your website is sandboxed by google or not, try to search in google with this keyword : [site:www.yourwebsite.com]. If there is no result, than your website is sandboxed by google.
See if your site is new i.e. less than 6 months then you are not supposed to do aggressive link building. now if you are facing sandbox effect please slowdown your link building. Evan if you are trying to have that please do it from well reputed sites & again in slow motions. Try this... it will work for sure
Check your site for the content and its quality. That might be what is hurting it. Also build links keeping the quality in mind rather than the quantity.
Starting a new website in the first 6 months youve got to look organic and healthy updating content etc and not bringing in too many black hat seo techniques
Good quality content is always the king. Although nowadays if other people steal your content, it can get tricky which one the search engine picks up the first, yours or stealing site?
I don't think there's a way to see if you are "officially" in Google's sandbox - they don't make their tactics that obvious.
There are several services available to check whether your site is sandboxed. Just google "google sandbox checker" to find them.
