let's hope no one looses a contact lens! how long do they last I wonder...like ice sculptures...I'd hate to create something so amazing with such a short life span!

 

In some areas of the world ice sculptures will last several months... Yes, this is personal experience talking...

 

I was thinking more along the lines of what you see for gourmet dinners and the like.

they used to do them @ Dartmouth (in NH), would last a long time too on account of the never ending winters

That is some amazing artwork with sand. I'm limited to the small toy buckets for making castles.
