sand box query?????

    hello..
    i know from some forum that one site was targetting one most competative keywords and it was on the top in google SERP for a long time.but a'ter some time that site suddenly not shown.so how can we know that our site is there in sand box?? and why google putdown that top ranking site into sand box????

    If a site was at the top of the SERPS in Google and then dropped off, it has nothing to do with the sandbox. It likely has to do with the fact that they don't have quality IBL's (inbound links). Google recently changed their algo to only award credit to very relevant IBL's. Before that, the site with the most IBL's was ranked higher whether those links were relevant or not. Now that they weigh the links differently, many sites that used to be ranked high, are dropping off, because their link relevancy sucks.
