Here is a site that is basically straight out of the box from the template. For the purposes of the review, please kindly ignore the keyword stuffing on the bottom of the page...I'm getting that removed. Not my site but a friends. I was looking thru the site, it has a PR of 2 (surprisingly) but only has it's home page indexed. Personally I see NO seo, H1 tags of any kind, etc. It's built off of a content management system - mambo. Alot of the other content is the same used on probably 40 other sites. Are those drop down links seo friendly? Currently this site ranks NO WHERE. 6 months old and has very little inbound links and no seo. My plan for action was, directory submission, basic on page seo, changing the content enough to make it unique (I am familiar with this subject so re-writing/wording won't be a problem.) remove keyword stuffing, basic link building with appropriate anchor text and changing the url's to more descriptive insert-keywords-here type of page names, making all title tags unique and keyword/content specific. This is a pretty obscure niche, so shouldn't be hard to rank for. What are your thoughts? tips - suggestions?
