Samsung Galaxy S2 is probably the best smartphone right now.

I've been waiting for the SGS2 ever since i saw that youtube video to get my hands on it. Well i use the Nokia 5800 XM and it's kinda have got old and i wanna replace symbian with android. Kiss Grin Kiss

The Samsung Galaxy S is indeed a good piece of architecture and a good mix of technology packed into a very slim profile. It will be popular if they decide to keep the price low and justified .Get a review of the SGS 2 here -

I would definitely want a samsung galaxy s 2 in the future but there are other options like the lg optimus 2x , htc thunderbolt and the pyramid or the sony erricson xperia arc.

Doesn't the slimness factor with 8MP rear with 2 MP front camera, with a 1.2 dual core processor, usb-otg,nfc support ,android 2.3 gingerbread make it a killer smartphone ? What do you think people ?

totally. with it's dual core processor and super-amoled displays, it'll blow all the other smartphones in the market away... until about a month later, when their competitors comes up with another even more epic smartphone.

    I love competition.

Do we consider iPhone 4 a smartphone? If so I do not think that the level of usability of Samsung can reach the iPhone's milestone. I do not really need a high MPx camera if it will not comfortable to use.

I plan on getting this one when it comes to our shores. Samsung's super-amoled wow'd me more than the Retina display (I don't care about pixel density because even if I'm nearsighted, I won't be looking at my phone inches away from my face). But I think GS2 uses Super Amoled Plus, so I'm guessing contrast will be much better and the colors more vibrant than the Super Amoled, which I like.

    I've got it.
    I do like it.
    But I much prefer iPhone.
I have an iPad 2 now u see thats why I got rid of iPhone. Don't need both.
I decided to experiment with Android. It is a much more open source OS which is good coz u dont need to jailbreak it.
However, the iPhone is so much easier to use. This new Android phone is great but it's not very user friendly.
