Someone has reported that his friend's samsung galaxy s ii skyrocket was on fire and the phone was even in his pocket. However his friend was not injured. First smoke was coming out of his pocket and it was the phone causing the smoke.

Wow thats terrible. I wouldn't get one anyway. People act like they didn't notice the fact that samsung reduced the on board memory by a lot. the first vibrant is the best phone I've ever had.

The fire thing seems extreme though. Just a random fire in his pocket?

The device must have short circuited. Any news on what the specific cause was?

Overheat the battery might be the reason of fire
