lots of people need those stories. many people start their "make money with your web" bussiness. newbies come everyday. and many of them don't know how to get those stories "free".

I really liked the chapter in your book about posting in forums every chance you get to promote your wares.

I've only been running adsense since July and I bought the book a month or so ago, found it helpful for adsense and general site optimisation advice.

Hmm, I guess the rest of us are really stupid missing out on a obvious opportunity gathering the information freely available on the internet and selling it as a ebook for 49,99$ then.

Please note that it's not an e-book, it's an actual printed book by a major publisher. That's one of the reasons it looks professional -- because professional people have worked on it for the editing and the graphic design.

Your list about all you need to know about AdSense is a good list, but it also presumes a certain level of knowledge. My book is for computer users, people who aren't technical and who don't know anything about web servers, domain names, etc. The book's purpose is to educate them about these things as well as show them how AdSense works.

You may think it's all easy, but trust me, there are people out there who don't. Part of it is all the jargon they encounter -- you may not realize it, but you speak a specialized dialect when you're talking about making money with AdSense.

Anyhow, I've never claimed that my book's good for the people reading this forum. It's certainly not an "advanced AdSense" book. But you probably have friends and family that will find the book useful, so print them off the sample chapter and let them read it. They'll tell you quickly whether it's for them or not.

Also, the narrative style of the book works well for many of my readers. Again, it's a matter of taste and interpretation. I wanted the readers to be able to relate to the characters.

What a surprise. Another hopeless DP'er replying to a 6yr+ old thread like it was just posted recently.
