Same user-agent, no referrer, but different IP. What's happening?

    Hello everyone,

We have a particular page on our site which is nothing special. It is just a news release. However, it is getting slammed by some odd traffic. It came to our notice when it reached 25,000 views in a month, where most other releases get on 1,000, at best.

I put a bug on the page to track referrer, IP and user agent. The user-agent is always the same, which is below:

    Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)

The IP address is always different there is no common origin. Also, there is no referrer. I can click through and my information shows it as normal, so I know the script works.

Anyone have any kind of expanation?

    Thanks in advance
