http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&rlz=1B2GGFB_enRO211RO211&q=ogilvy&btnG=Search http://www.google.com/search?source...&rlz=1B2GGFB_enRO211RO211&q=+The+Ogilvy+Group Both results search page have same website on No. 1 result but on first result page is with "Ogilvy.com" and on second result page is with "Ogilvy Group Romania" title What can be the cause of this?
Well on for the first you searched "ogilvy" and for the second you used "The Ogilvy Group". I don't find anything strange with those results, because you used different keyword combination for searching. Just my opinion. I think that it's also important form which country you perform the search.
is not important what keywords i used for search.. first result is same on both page but have different titles.. as i know 1 page can have only one title !!! and then why same page is listed under 2 different titles in google search?
This is because the old ogilyvy (or something) romanian website is linked in the google directory: http://www.google.com/Top/Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Advertising/Agencies/Full_Service/O/ See at the bottom: Ogilvy Group Romania - that URL redirects to Ogilvy.com. Google used that description because it fits the search query best.
Google takes the title from Dmoz sometimes (which is where it gets the contents of the google directory from as well).
i think one of the description is coming from dmoz. normally , google uses the the description and title from dmoz index
