same keywords in meta tags on all pages

I have seen a common practice through out the web of websites using the same meta tag info, particularly keywords meta tags, on all or most pages. I heard recently that this could be considered spam. I have a site that has a bunch of articles. Should I try and come up with keywords that fit each article page or not.

    Thank You

same keyword would be ok. But you need different title and description

I suggest you include different keywords in your meta tags for each page, based on the content of the page.
