I have a site that I optimized to get traffic from one specific keyword, and I am starting to see the results from that now. What I am wondering is: Will I rank higher in the SEPRS for that keyword if I optimize all the sites pages for that single keyword, or is that a waste of space? Is it better to optimize each page of the site for an individual keyword?
If you have a site optimized for a single keyword, it is best to optimize other pages for keyword phrases including that very keyword. This both emphases your theme and adds "the Long Tail" to your content.
I agree. Targetting only one keyword on one page will not get nearly as many results from google as you can. My suggestion is to just make a few more pages using the keyword.
I think you are better off using different keywords for different pages, i.e select keywords relevant to the page content.
