Same keyword different Result

    Hi,


    Please tell me the reason for different results in yahoo and google with same keywords..

    I am using a Keyword, doing same process, but in google my site at position 2 and in same keyword in yahoo on posstion 5.

    Can you please tell me the perfect reason?

    i don't know why you ask this, it is obvious, they are 2 different engines, with different algorithms, ( yes, the algorithms are deciding the serps, not only the number of inbound links, or their pagerank, a very complex algorithm for each search engine ).

    hi there,

    Google, Yahoo and MSN use different ranking systems. Yahoo are most into number of links pointing to your site, than what google are.

    that is the difference in search engine algorithms.
    This happens.You can try with other keywords and see the change

    obviously google and yahoo used different algorithm so no wonder you have different results in same kws.

    Yahoo seem to like links, where as Google like relevance and age.

    guys, you should read the answers and add to the reputation of someone instead of SPAMMING the thread with 10 times the EXACT same answer!

    If one post can stop hundreds of spams, i don't call that spamming.

    "Kill one, save hundreds"

    My bad. I should have add: 2 different search engines, 2 different algorithms. Then you wouldn't have consider it spam?
