Same Keyword Different Adgroups

    Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this

Suppose I had a keyword "natural blue widget at home" and i had 2 adgroups, one with seed keyword "home" and another with seed keyword "natural". Therefore, the keyword qualifies for both adgroups.
    What would happen if:

    1. I added the keyword to both adgroup and the ads in both adgroups had the same display url

    OR

    2. I added the keyword to both adgroups but the ads for these adgroups had different display urls. e.g. one pointing to /home.php and another to /natural.php

Would i have both ads showing and competing against each other or is it only one ad that would show?

    Thanks

they will compete against each other and only one of them will be displayed.

Only one ad per keyword will show from your account. However if you manage a MCC then you will have more ads showing for the same keyword. Keep in mind that you are only allowed 1 keyword per 1 domain in your account as well.
