Suppose I had a PR5 website I hosted (Site A). I decided to create another site which is PR0, from they same host IP (Site B). I placed a link for Site B on Site A. Would Site B still get a good backlink? Or does it not count as much on the same IP?
It depends a lot on Clusters apparently, C addressing and all that kind of thing (which I'm not familiar with at all). But generally using the same IP address won't be as efficient as using different IPs.
yes...ur link will be counted..its correct...but if those are from same C class IP then u won't get much value. thanks W.S
Links from website A, that has the same IP with the website B counts less than different IP, or that's what we think. From my personal experience it's not quite low value.
links from same ip will not help u to boost your ranking in SERP. just try to get link from other sites which are hosted on other servers.
it will be counted as backlink but it will NOT effect your page rank or serp . it will only a backlink
Google also takes into account the domain details of a website such as age, owner details, IP class etc. So, with your plan you are only creating a link network which will not benefit you. Better host it on a different server and try to link to it naturally (since you are the owner, you have the luxury of creating natural links.) by linking to your second website within content and not just placing a link on the link/home page.
