If you log into 2 different paypal accounts under the same Ip address, would there be a problem?

I believe that it's also fine to own a personal account and a business account. In that case, it's natural to log in from the same IP.

    Thank you :D

It's going to be under the same family last name and address.. so I guess having the same IP would correlate with that!

Just make sure that all the accounts are verified and best if you have Photo ID ready just in case they need it.

First account is verified, 2nd one can be once it gets signed up. Paypal is really strict on the IP thing eh??

And yes we have photo ID..

No, they are not too strict about IP because sharing IP is possible. Once you get the accounts verified, it gives them a sense that those people are real and not your alter-ego or done to violate their rules on one personal + one premier/business account. It is more like they are strict on unverified accounts.

Because they allow you to have 1 Personal account + 1 Premier/Business account, it would be inevitable that they will share the same IP.

If I recall the TOS correctly, you cannot use the paypal accounts to withdraw funds from your credit card, ie by paying another family member through paypal using your credit card.

As long as the accounts set up are used by the person whose name is on the account and done independently, I don't see any problem with that.

Did you try emailing them ? I know you might get an automated answer, but they are the best people to tell you if they really do worry about such issues.

Or you might even consider calling them via Skype

When you login from two different ips', let's say socks/proxy from another country, they let you know that once you login again. And you press 'yes' if you was the one, who used these ips, or 'no' to report the stolen account.

yeah i was going to say that too..

like when my friend from Cali came here for vacation and was accessing his account, as soon as he logged on they asked him his BOA CC info to verify that it was him as he accesses his US paypal from a foreign country as a secirty measure..

Ohh.h.... I think I might wait on this , I can't risk losing my paypal account (I have lots of + transaction points already). We need 2 different internet connections! That'll solve everything instantly..

8-My husband and I have two paypal accounts from the same computer and we've never had any issues.

We were big into ebay a few years ago so we both needed one.

There should be no problems with having two accounts IMO.
