I would agree except my referrals from other sources like Vast, AOL, etc. have remained the same. It's unfortunate my overall traffic dropped about 40% but the only thing I pinpointed that changed are referrals from Google. Even Yahoo! and MSN's trickle have remained pretty steady.

    Not sure what's going on...

I don't think google has anything to do with your drop in traffic, maybe it's a slow month you should
give it a few weeks and see what happens.

Past two days my traffic has been down as well...I don't think it's a coincidence that many sites are getting less hits.

Checking all data centers was a good idea. I did that, and the ranking still came up fine. Still scratching my head....

Google has many datacenters and is probably shuffling things around a bit. One of my sites dropped in rankings in the US, but was fine everywhere else. A day later and all is back to normal.

Ditto here for my site in the Spirituality/Religion category. Same Google SERPs, but a modest yet noticeable decline in traffic over the past 10-12 days.

Its summer and the economy is doing terrible. I figure kids are heading home from college and people are probably out enjoying the nice weather. Same exact thing, my SERPs are up over the last week and the traffic is steadily down.

I expected some seasonality in my niches, but maybe this is a little more general phenomenon...

Traffic has dropped down quite a bit on couple of my sites as well. But there is nothing to worry, am sure it'll pick up n get steady as time goes by.

May be, a possible correction in algo testing happening ;)

Yeah I guess 90% of my female audience after trying to fit into a bikini has opted for a diet... LOL
I see 50% less traffic with same serps

I was wondering if the internet was broken! ;)

All of my sites have had a significant drop in traffic. My sites range from living green, to household tips for saving money, to working from home. I've been suffering with the diminished traffic for about two weeks now. Each day it gets lower and lower. Pretty soon I'll be using my fingers and toes to count my visitors.

What the heck is going on?

I have a really weird situation here, too. On Friday, according to awstats my traffic was down about 50%. (All my rankings are the same, too). BUT, the number of impressions for adsense were totally normal, and I made about the same amount I usually make on a Friday. Anyone else having this issue?

Last 24 May, many .info and co.uk domains had lost 90% of traffic.

25 May traffic are come back.

Saturdays are usually slower for me but also a couple of days it has been a decrease by 30% than usual :) I can not say the same thing for the end of May last year. And its not about economy, everybody talks about it on TV, people don't just stop searching the net for that reason :) Good weather, vacatuon? yes its true, but there was a post about a travel site, the traffic is down there too!

I have seen this with many of sites. It means google definite change some algorithms which don't effect pr but the keyword optimization.

Unfortunately, it looks like all we can do is continue to add quality content, tweak our SEO, get backlinks, build lists and hope and pray that things get better.
